How do I create hourly rates?
Define different hourly rates based on clients, projects, services, and employees. For detailed billing.
You can set hourly rates via the menu item of the same name. An hourly rate can be created at the customer/project, service, or employee level. This allows you to apply different hourly rates for the same service across different customers. It is also possible to combine these levels—for example, if employee “Max Mustermann” books the service “Project Management,” it costs the client €100. However, if “Barbara Beispiel” books the exact same service, she is billed €120 per hour due to her experience.
Depending on the structure and scope of the hourly rates, it’s worth working with sub-rules or refinements.
It’s important to know that Clockodo always scans the rules from top to bottom in the background and uses the first applicable rule. So if a rule doesn’t seem to apply correctly in your opinion, there’s likely a “broader” rule higher up that’s being used.
