How does the search console work?
Use our new console to search for data or perform an action directly. You can launch the search using the mouse or by pressing CTRL+K or CMD+K.
The search function takes you to the desired record, menu item, or employee in a flash. When searching for a customer, project, or service, you can use the Tab key to display available actions. For example, you can immediately start your stopwatch or create a time entry for the customer you’re looking for.
When searching for employees, you can use the Tab key to jump immediately to their scheduled work hours, absences, or co-worker report. You can also create a time entry for the employee directly and much more.
In addition, the search window offers the following shortcuts:
CTRL + E = Creates a new time entry
CTRL + U = Starts the stopwatch
CTRL + D = Creates a new absence
For Mac users the shortcuts are CMD +E/U/D
