What types of absences are there?
Clockodo offers various types of absences. See here what each type of absence entails.
You can choose from different types of absences. For standard absences, planned hours are automatically credited—these include:
- Vacation day, special leave, school/further education, maternity protection
- Military/alternative service, quarantine (work not possible)
- Sick day & sick day of a child
If you work on a sick day, only the missed scheduled planned hours are made up for by the sick day. Unlike vacation day, no overtime can be accrued during sick day.
For “unpaid absences” and “sick pay,” the planned hours for the period of absence are reset to zero.
The absence types “Home Office” and “Work out of office” are intended solely as visual indicators. Employees must continue to manually record their hours during these absences.
