What is an interval budget (retainer)?

Use the interval budget for recurring projects/budgets.

With an interval budget, you can automatically create projects at a specified interval. However, the Plus Plan is required for this feature.

How to create an interval budget:

  1. In the customers & projects list within your Clockodo master data, select the client for whom you wish to create a project. On the customer page, click the blue "+ Project" button to create a new project.
  2. Enter a budget, select "interval budget" as the type and set a suitable interval (weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly). Now adjust the billing type and define a budget.

Clockodo automatically creates sub-projects for this project at the specified interval.
