This email address already exists and is active in this or another account

The email address is already assigned to an active user, either in this account or another one. The most common reason is that new employees accidentally create their own Clockodo account and therefore cannot be invited to join an existing account. In that case, Clockodo Support can delete the test account.

If the user has already used Clockodo with a previous employer and the account has not yet been archived there, the employee must contact their former employer to have their account deactivated. Once archived, the email address can be reused.
