How can I withdraw my cancellation?

A cancellation can be withdrawn before the data is permanently deleted. For data protection reasons, the deletion following a cancellation cannot simply be postponed. If the cancellation is withdrawn, the data will be retained and will not be deleted.

How do I prevent data deletion?

The only way to prevent deletion is to revoke the cancellation before the deletion takes place, for example, by replying in writing to the relevant email.

  1. Reply in writing to the notice regarding data deletion.

  2. Indicate that the cancellation is being revoked.

  3. After the cancellation is withdrawn, the account will remain active and the data will not be deleted.

What happens after the cancellation is withdrawn?

After the cancellation is withdrawn, the account will be reactivated. Access to the account will be restored, and an invoice will be issued accordingly.

 

Can I cancel again later?

Yes. If you decide you no longer want to keep the account, you can cancel it again after the cancellation has been withdrawn.

 

What applies to permanent data deletion?

Permanent data deletion following cancellation cannot simply be postponed. If the cancellation is not withdrawn in time, the account will be deleted.

 

What happens during reactivation?

When an account is reactivated, the cancellation is withdrawn. A charge will be issued for the applicable license.
