How does Clockodo calculate vacation quota?
Have the vacation quota for new employees calculated automatically, or adjust it manually for employees who are leaving.
Clockodo calculates vacation quota for new employees based on the start date entered and the standard vacation allowance you have defined.
So, if you have a standard vacation allowance of 30 days and the employee starts on June 1, Clockodo calculates 15 vacation days for the current year. For part-time employees, vacation quota must be adjusted manually.
Quick tip: When setting the start date, it’s important to select the first day of the month—if you want the full entitlement to apply for that month. Otherwise, the month will only be included in the calculation on a pro-rata basis.
The stored vacation quotas always apply on an annual basis. There is currently no option to define a quota for a period such as June 26 to June 27.
When an employee leaves the company, the remaining vacation quota must be entered manually. You can find a tutorial on employee offboarding here.
