How do I submit a reinstatement request?
Use the sick leave to automatically make up for missed target hours.
To the best of our knowledge, working hours do not need to be tracked during a return-to-work period (since the employee is considered to be on sick leave). The employee also cannot accumulate either positive or negative time. For the duration of the return-to-work period, create an absence with the type “Sickness.” The employee then records their hours as usual, thereby partially filling their day. The missing time is then offset by the sick leave—that is, if the employee records a total of 4 hours out of a regular 8-hour workday, the missing 4 hours are made up by the sick leave.
