How do I create Autolinks in Clockodo?

Autolinks can help you creating links within your time entry descriptions. This can be helpful e.g. if you're working on Jira tickets or Asana tasks.

To create autolinks in Clockodo, first go to the “Autolinks” section under the “Integrations” menu. Then click the blue “+Autolink” button in the top-right corner. A window will open in which you have to:

  • First, give the autolink a (unique) name.

  • Next, specify whether the ID of the target URL should consist only of numbers (numeric) or also include letters (alphanumeric).

  • Now define the prefix that will be added to the ID of the target URL.

  • Finally, you can add a meaningful description to the autolink.

  • Save your changes.


Clockodo will now automatically recognize predefined patterns in the descriptions of time entries and notes and convert them into a clickable link to the external system.
