How do I adjust the idle detection in the desktop app?
The desktop app's idle detection feature recognizes when you are no longer using your PC and suggests this as a break time within the app.
The Clockodo Desktop App's idle detection feature activates as soon as a period of inactivity is detected (no mouse movement, no keystrokes). The exact duration can be set to 5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can disable absence detection entirely.
When the idle detection feature detects inactivity, it notifies you when activity resumes on the PC and suggests recording the inactive time as a break or as a new activity.
To disable idle detection in your Clockodo app, right-click the Clockodo icon in the Windows system tray (where the date and time are displayed). Go to idle detection and set it to Inactive or adjust the interval. On Mac computers, the icon is located in a different place, but the rest of the process is the same.
