How do I add a new project?
For recording and invoicing at project level.
There are several ways to create new projects:
- In the Customers and projects list within your Clockodo master data, select the client for whom you wish to create a project. On the customer page, click the blue "+ Project" button to create a new project.
- Via the clock: click on the "Customer / project" field to open the customer/project list. There, in the top right-hand corner, you will find a small "+" icon for creating new entries - including projects.
- Via the manual time entry: First, open the window for a new time entry. Open the dropdown menu for the "Customer / project" selection. Click the small blue "+" icon to create new entries.
To create a new project, you only need the name. All other fields are optional. If required, select an end date for the project, specify wether it is billable and set an appropriate budget.
