Clockodo-Connector in Claude FAQ

What do you need?

You need a Claude account and your own Clockodo account. No programming knowledge is required. We do not restrict the connection to specific Clockodo plans. The features available to you in Claude may also depend on your Claude plan and permissions.

What permissions does Claude receive?

The connection gives Claude access to the Clockodo features you explicitly allow. For example, you can allow Claude to read data, or also permit actions such as creating time entries.

Your personal Clockodo permissions still determine which data Claude can retrieve. Connecting your account does not automatically give Claude access to all your company’s data.

Can you confirm actions before they are carried out?

Yes. You can choose whether Claude should ask for your confirmation before performing an action. This lets you distinguish between allowing a feature and approving a specific action.

Review any action you are asked to confirm before approving it. Only grant the access you need, and follow your company’s IT, security and data protection requirements when setting up the connection.

How do you use the connection once it is set up?

For example, you can ask Claude about a project:

“How many hours have we tracked for the Website Relaunch project this month, and what is the revenue?”

You can also compare several projects or ask about specific periods. The data available for these requests depends on your Clockodo permissions.

Once you have allowed the relevant feature, you can also ask Claude to record an absence:

“Enter vacation for me from November 23 to 27.”

Whether Claude asks for confirmation before carrying out the action depends on the confirmation settings in place.
