Revise entry descriptions with AI

When tracking time, a short note is often enough. For a report or a customer invoice, that note later needs to become clear, easy-to-understand text. With "Revise with AI", Clockodo helps you do this directly in the description field: the AI revises the wording based on the information you have already entered.

Requirements

First, enable "AI-assisted features". You can find instructions on enabling and managing AI features, as well as information on data processing, here.

How to revise a description

  1. Enter a note: Write your description in an entry's description field as usual. As soon as the field contains text, the "Revise with AI" icon appears.
  2. Start the revision: Click the AI icon. Clockodo revises the text directly in the description field.
  3. Review the result: Read the revised description. The feature is designed to express the information you have already entered clearly and correctly. Names and ticket numbers are preserved.
  4. Save the entry: When you are happy with the description, save your entry. You decide which text is used.

Return to the original description

Would you prefer to keep your original wording? Click the "Undo" arrow. This restores the text from before the AI revision.

Define your own writing style

Under "My data" → "AI settings", you can add a personal AI instruction. Use it to describe how the AI should word your texts.

One possible instruction is:

"brief, factual and without filler words"

This setting only applies to your own suggestions. This allows you to adapt the wording to your preferred writing style.
